Dictionary Project
For 2007,
the Papago Rotary Club will increase the number of schools and
students receiving a dictionary. This year, third graders at
Pueblo, Navajo, Kiva, Salt River Elementary and the Interact Club at
Coronado High School received their own dictionary - over 400
students!
Comments from the Kids!

In December, 2006, members of
the Papago Rotary Club of Scottsdale distributed a dictionary
to each third grader at Tonalea Elementary School and to
members of the Interact Club at Coronado High School. In
January, 2007, each third grader at Navajo Elementary School
also received a dictionary courtesy of the Papago Rotary
Club. The photographs that follow are from the visit to
Tonalea Elementary. Special thanks to Rotarian Pam Peacock for
setting up our visit to Tonalea and to all the students, faculty and
staff at Tonalea and Navajo Schools for welcoming us to their
schools.

You never know who's going to
be stopping by for a visit.
