About Us
Founded March 23, 1970, from the
Phoenix East Rotary Club, the Papago Rotary Club was the second
Scottsdale Rotary club. Papago Rotary is actively engaged in our
community. The Club's Service Above Self Award is
the single largest community-based student scholarship
awarded to graduates of Coronado High School. The Club was
an co-sponsor and members continue to participate in
the Annual Zoowalk for Autism. During the 2006=2007, in
cooperation with members of the Phoenix East Rotary Club,
members of the Papago Rotary Club sponsored Operation Gratitude, to aid the Arizona
National Guard's Family Assistance Program.
We have sponsored exchange students,
hosted international visitors and renovated a municipal park.
